West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust to host members’ meeting looking at performance

An upcoming event will give attendees an opportunity to learn about a hospital trust’s performance in the last year and ask questions.

The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, which runs West Suffolk Hospital and Newmarket Community Hospital, will hold its annual members’ meeting at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday, September 26.

It will start at 5.15pm and will look at highlights from the past year as well as looking ahead to the future - including the trust’s five year strategy and a new healthcare facility in Bury St Edmunds by 2030.

Chief executive Dr Ewen Cameron said: “This event allows our members and the public to get an insight into how their local NHS trust is performing.

“There will also be an insightful talk from our talented consultant paediatrician, Dr Ankit Mathur, and the opportunity to engage with our local health partners.

“I hope anyone interested in their local health service attends and I look forward to welcoming all those from our local community.”
