Police appeal after watches and jewellery stolen from Stowmarket home




Detectives are appealing for information after high value watches and jewellery were stolen from a home in Ipswich Road, Stowmarket.

The burglary took place between Saturday 13 - Saturday, August, 20, and the intruder is believed to have gained entry via a window at the rear of the property.

Police said an 'untidy search of upstairs rooms was conducted' before the items were stolen.

Anyone with any information regarding the burglary in Ipswich Road should contact CID West Team 3, using: crime reference 37/53656/22.

Police also have asked for information after an attempted burglary in Lockington Road, also in Stowmarket, between Friday, August 12 - Friday, August 19.

It is believed that an intruder accessed the rear of the home via a side gate and then attempted to force open the patio doors and a kitchen window.

A security light was damaged but no one was able to enter the property.
