Stowmarket High School students aim for Norwich and funds
Pupils, police community support officers and members of the public took part in a virtual row from Stowmarket to Norwich to raise funds.
Stowmarket High School Year 9 students spent the day in the town centre either rowing, seeking donations or persuading people to take part to raise money for a new bike shed and outside resources for when the school has a new building in 2020. Their efforts raised nearly £380.
The event was very successful as one of the teams got within two kilometres of reaching Norwich before the 3pm deadline.
Richie Forde, head of year said: "Very well done to all involved.”
