Inspired by summer and the great outdoors, artistic pupils at a village school have created this stunning mural.

Children at Risby Primary School worked with parent and artist Sarah Draper to design mini-beasts, flowers and plants.

It has now taken pride of place outside a classroom for all to see.

Headteacher Lisa Tweed said: “They’ve really enjoyed doing it - it’s brought the whole school together. Every child took part in it.

“It’s amazing, colourful and something that’s lasting. Already children are going upto it and pointing at the bit they’ve done. They’re proud of their achievements.”
