Blooming gardens in Bury St Edmunds and Thetford set to open in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care
Some of the region's best gardens will be on show this summer to raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The Hidden Gardens of Bury St Edmunds returns on July 11, with around 30 town centre gardens usually hidden from public eyes set to open their gates.
All gardens will be within walking distance of each other.
Tickets are available to purchase in advance – stnicholashospice.org.uk/contact-us/hidden-gardens-of-bury-tickets – or from 10.30am on the day from a hospice gazebo on Angel Hill.
In Thetford, the team behind Thetford Open Gardens will be opening their gardens for the second time this year on June 27.
Event passports are available from Everything Thetford, in Kings Street, at www.leapinghare.org or by emailing info@leapinghare.org.
Meanwhile, the hospice is running a virtual open gardens event, from Sunday until July 11.
Celebrate Our Gardens will feature virtual events, including talks and recordings from garden designers, sculptors and specialists.
