Foursys moves to Bury for the room to expand
Forget Silicon Fen, an award winning network security specialist has left Cambridge for new offices in Bury St Edmunds.
Foursys needed more space to accommodate its planned growth, which includes taking on 15 new staff and three new vendor partners.
It has moved to new offices, at Manor Park, Bury, which it says offer phased availability of new business units to a total of 5,000 sq ft as it grows.
James Miller, Foursys managing director, said: “Our new offices give us much-needed room to expand for the next stage of our planned growth.
“This growth comes at a time when cyber-security threats to business and public sector organisations are more complex and potentially more damaging than ever, particularly with the explosion of mobile data usage.”
The 15 new jobs are being created following the addition of three new technology vendors to the Foursys portfolio of security services, and will cover a range of different roles in security consulting, support, sales and administration.
Foursys is a network security ‘value added reseller’ that has been providing IT security products, services, solutions and support for more than two decades to the NHS, government, education and commerce to help them secure their businesses.
Foursys, which employs 35, was named top partner for Clearswift and was Sophos Public Sector Partner of the Year for 2014.
