Suffolk Police report four men for hare-coursing in Mendelsham and Little Stonham
Four men have been reported for hare-coursing near Mendlesham and Little Stonham.
Police were called at around 10am yesterday to reports of the activity - which sees greyhounds trained to catch hares - and a drone was also deployed.
Four men from Kent were reported for consideration of offences under the Hunting Act.
Police also seized a Volvo XC90 under the same Act.
Sergeant Brian Calver from the Rural Policing Team said: "I would urge the public to be vigilant and report any suspected incidents of hare-coursing in progress by calling 999.
"Members of the public should not to place themselves in danger. The persons involved in this kind of criminality are often dangerous offenders who are willing to use violence upon anybody to assist their escape, with no regards for the welfare of those that may try to stop them.”
Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 88 of November 13.
