Clubs, restaurants and bars across Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, and the rest of the county are gearing up for one of the busiest nights of the year.
So whether you want to relax with a takeaway, or dance the night away, here are our suggestions for celebrating the start of 2023.
New Year's Eve at ICE, near Bury St Edmunds
On New Year's Eve the ICE restaurant on the Rougham Industrial Estate will be offering up a six course dinner with live music from Peachy Beat.
Guests will receive a cocktail on arrival and a glass of Prosecco at midnight, to toast the start of 2023.
It's not too late to catch a panto at a Suffolk theatre
Many children might not quite be able to make midnight but that doesn't mean they have to miss out on some quality family time.
Why not support your local theatre or cinema this New Year's Eve and enjoy a show or a film with the rest of the family.
In Ipswich performers from the Red Rose Chain theatre company will be performing their version of Wind in the Willows for final time at 2pm.
Before the show children can explore the special Wind in the Willows garden outside the Avenue Theatre.
There are also limited tickets left for the Rock 'N' Roll Panto at the New Wolsey theatre in Ipswich, with two performances on New Year's Eve.
The Abbeygate Cinema in Bury St Edmunds and The Regal in Stowmarket are showing films on December 31: including Avatar and Matilda.
Premiere of 2023 at Verve, Bury St Edmunds
Between 10pm - 4am Verve nightclub in Bury St Edmunds will be hosting a 'Welcome to Hollywood' party.
There will also be an exclusive bottomless brunch downstairs, featuring festive cocktails and shots, between 12pm - 8pm.
Take in the sights at Ipswich Waterfront
If you are looking for a destination to visit this New Year's Eve, head on down to Ipswich Waterfront which is packed full of bars and restaurants including: Isaacs on the Quay and the Waterfront Bistro.
At midnight you may be 'lucky' enough to hear people on the boats in the marina banging on pots and pans, or even spot a firework display two.

Jools' Holland Annual Hootenanny will start at 11.30pm on New Year's Eve on BBC Two.
You will be able to watch London's famous fireworks display on the bank of the River Thames from midnight on New Year's Day - this will be on BBC One.
