Firefighters called to Wool Road, on the Marham Park Estate, in Bury St Edmunds




Firefighters used breathing equipment to tackle a blaze at a home earlier today.

Two fire crews were called to Wool Road, on the Marham Park Estate, in Bury St Edmunds, at 10.43am.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said the blaze was found in a first-floor bedroom.

Crews from Bury St Edmunds used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames and the fire had been put out by 11.48am.

No injuries have been reported.
