Festive services to remember loved ones in Bury and Thetford

Festive services to remember loved ones are being held in Bury St Edmunds and Thetford.

St Nicholas Hospice Care’s annual Light up a Life service is at St Mary’s Church, in Crown Street, Bury, at 6pm on Sunday, followed by a candlelit procession to Angel Hill for a ceremony, when the names of those being remembered will be read out and the Christmas tree lit.

Another service will be held in Thetford, at the United Reformed Church, at 6.30pm on Thursday, December 18.

Hospice bosses say the services, which feature music, are a ‘poignant way to remember loved ones’.
