Haughley Park set for illuminated Spectacle of Light next month
A sensational Spectacle of Light event is returning to Haughley Park next month after the pandemic forced its cancellation in 2021.
A new illuminated trail and light installations aimed at all ages will be in place for the after-dark event, which runs every weekend in February at the usually-private estate's extensive gardens and grounds.
The tour will be accompanied by a gentle musical score, while warming food and drinks will be available along the way.
Robert Williams, Haughley Park owner, said: “After lockdown forced us to cancel 2021’s event, we are delighted to be bringing it back in 2022. It’s perfect for brightening the long winter evenings and gives everyone something special to look forward to.”
The event runs each Friday, Saturday and Sunday in February, with entry times between 5.30pm and 7pm. The estimated walk time is 60-75 minutes and the trail is wheelchair accessible.
Advance tickets are available until February 4, priced at £18 for adults and £9 for children (under threes free). Family tickets (two adults, two children) cost £46.80.
