Bury St Edmunds hairdressers Gina Giles relocates from Cadogan Road to Glastonbury Road
It is an exciting time for Bury St Edmunds hairdresser Gina Giles and her team of stylists as they embark on a ‘new adventure’ with a move to new salon premises in the town.
On Tuesday, Gina Giles Hairdressing opened its doors at 10 Glastonbury Road for the first time, having completed a move from former premises in nearby Cadogan Road.
After 11 years at their former salon it was time to relocate into premises with more car parking and better access, said Gina, so the business has taken on the former Kings Hairs Studios premises.
“It has worked out well for us,” said Gina.
“We are still staying in the local area which is really good as we do quite a lot of the local community, so we are hoping they will stay with us as well as welcoming new customers.
“The new salon is slightly bigger but there is also a huge free car park which is much better than where we were.”
Gina’s five stylists are moving to the new salon, while they will also be joined by two hairdressers from the former Kings Hair Studios.
Gina has been in hairdressing for 40 years, having worked in the industry in Bury since leaving school.
“I am excited for the move. It is a new adventure and another new chapter– we are all excited and the customers are delighted we are only moving down the road,” she said.
The salon is looking to recruit another stylist – for more information contact Gina on 01284 752002. The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday.
