Police and ambulance called to Mount Road in Bury St Edmunds after boy rides bike into pole

Emergency services were called to an incident after a boy fell off his bike and is believed to have broken his arm.
Police and ambulance were called to Mount Road in Bury St Edmunds at 8.40am following reports of a collision at the crossing between Tassell Road and Bradbrooke Close.
However, no police action was required as it is believed the 12-year-old boy collided with a pole.
A Suffolk Police spokesperson said it is appears the child has suffered a broken arm, however this has not been confirmed by the ambulance service.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said the boy was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
