Jurgen Kapica and Vinjola Geca jailed after supplying cocaine in Bury St Edmunds
A drug dealing pair have been sentenced to nearly six years in prison after supplying class A drugs from London to Suffolk.
Jurgen Kapica and Vinjola Geca, both 23, of Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, in Redbridge, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession with intent to supply in Bury St Edmunds.
They appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday where Kapica was sentenced to three years and four months while Geca received two years and six months.
The pair were both operating for the ‘Sarah Albo’ County Line which was suppling drugs into Suffolk from a base in east London.
They were arrested in January at a home in Woodford Green after detectives identified a phone number that was being used to offer cocaine in the town following the arrest of four drug runners.
During the raid, a number of mobile phones were seized along with SIM cards, bags of class A drugs and cash.
Kapica had seven different mobile numbers which were used to deliver cocaine through the drug line.
Simon Bendall, police staff investigator of the Serious Crime Disruption Team, said: “Kapica and Geca worked together to control a significant class A drugs operation which was responsible for bringing cocaine to be dealt on the streets of Bury St Edmunds.
“These County Lines are a blight on society and prey on vulnerable people to feed their addictions.
“We will continue to take robust action to dismantle them and bring the people higher-up the drugs supply chain to justice, making our communities safer for everyone.”
