Carer’s Concoction and Stowlangtoft Hall Tipple were among the mocktails residents at nursing home helped create in an innovative activity.

Elaine Channen, activities manager at Stowlangtoft Hall, invited staff from the Ivory Bar, in Bury St Edmunds to talk and educate the staff as well as residents for Nutrition and Hydration Week. She said: “I thought this was the best way to get the message across, it is about creating memories for our residents.”

They even named their own mocktails. Though there was no alcohol to be seen, Elaine said: “We don’t need drink to have fun here, we live on laughter and love.”
