Drink driving arrest after car driven wrong way down A11

Police have arrested a man following an incident on the A11 between Attleborough and Thetford last night (Tuesday, August 6).
A silver Volkwagen Passat was seen travelling the wrong way down the A11 northbound carriageway between the Breckland Lodge roundabout at Attleborough and the A11/A1075 roundabout at Thetford between 10.50pm and 11.10pm.
A man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving and remains in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident last night, or has dash cam footage of the vehicle, to contact them.
