Double blow for Bury St Edmunds town centre as restaurant and bar close
A restaurant is set to close on Sunday and a bar has closed - both within Bury St Edmunds town centre.
Giraffe situated in Parkway, which serves tapas, Turkish dishes and burgers will be closing on Sunday.
Snug bar, which served cocktails and food in St John's Street has closed.
A sign in their door today said: "So long for now. After many wonderful years in St John's Street, we have closed our doors to pave the way for our future.
"To our loyal guests- you are part of our family. We would love to see you over at our site in Lensfield Road, Cambridge, to continue making memories.
"Thank you for many happy years of sharing the #SnugLove at The Snug Bar Bury St Edmunds!
"But when one door closes - another one opens. New Snugs on the way! See you soon."
