Heavy delays on A14 at Beyton, near Bury St Edmunds, due to crash

There are delays after a crash on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds this morning.

Police were called to reports of a collision on the westbound route, at junction 46, near Beyton, at 7.30am.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said no injuries were reported and the scene was cleared by 8.10am.

However, there are still heavy delays on the route, with tailbacks spanning back to junction 49, Tot Hill.

Motorists are advised to take care.
