Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Stowmarket and other Suffolk towns provide viewing spots for Coronation flypast
The Coronation of King Charles III will see a large flypast take place to mark the occasion which will be visible from Suffolk.
The Military Airshows’ website has published the route of the spectacular formation and shows aircrafts will fly over Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Ipswich, Stowmarket and others.
Notable aircrafts include the Red Arrows, the Spitfires of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the RAF’s new P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft as well as 16 helicopters.
The Coronation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 6 at Westminster Abbey and the following Sunday will see a ‘Coronation Concert’ at Windsor Castle broadcasted by the BBC.
The flypast will take flight from 1.15pm from the North Sea and arrive over the Mall and Buckingham Place at 2.30pm.

Airspace restrictions will be in place between 12.15pm and 3pm - this will not affect commercial flights and only applies to light aircraft pilots and drone users.
