Car fire started on purpose say police

Police are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set alight in Lakenheath.

Firefighters from Brandon were called to a field off Undley Road at around 9pm on Thursday after a white hatchback was set on fire.

The blaze was brought under control in just over an hour.

Police believe the fire was started on purpose and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.
