Call for young photographers to enter Bury Abbey Rotary Club’s annual competition




Enthusiastic young photographers in Bury St Edmunds are being invited to showcase their creative talent.

Bury Abbey Rotary Club are encouraging photographers, aged between 11-17, to enter its annual competition.

This year’s theme is wonderful water and judges will be looking for imaginative interpretations of the subject.

Anyone aged between 11 to 17, on August 31, are eligible to enter and the two age categories judged will be from 11 -14 and 14 -17.

Photographs entered into the competition, which is part of a national event, must be a single image.

The photo must be at least 1500 pixels along its longest length but not exceed 15 MB in overall size.

Entries must be emailed to: buryabbeyrotary@gmail.com by November 30.

The rotary club is also running a free young photographer workshop at the Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds, on October 28.

Those wishing to attend will be able to book a space at the workshop, which will run from 10am - midday, in the coming weeks.
