Bury St Edmunds woman charged with stealing charity box in Newmarket

A woman from Bury St Edmunds has been charged with stealing a charity box from a shop in Newmarket.
The charity box was taken off a counter at a takeaway in High Street, Newmarket, between 9pm and 10pm on July 19.
Kelly Smith, of Forum Court, Bury, has been charged with theft in connection with the crime.
The 39-year-old has also been charged with a second count of theft after two vacuum cleaners were stolen from a store in Barton Road, Bury, on September 4.
Smith has been bailed to appear at Bury Magistrates’ Court on October 19.
