A series of fun and engaging activities will kick off the new year at Bury Library.

Weekly social group Top Time, which meets every Friday from 10am to noon, hosts scrabble hints and tips on January 8, arts and crafts on January 15, poetry on January 22 and a National Trust talk with Patrick O’Mahony on January 29.

The theme of the talk is how World War One affected the lives of an aristocratic family and the staff of their grand estate.

An Age UK Suffolk representative will be in the library to offer information about home help, day services and befriending on January 13, January 27 and February 10 from 11am to 2pm.

On Wednesday, January 13 there is a Suffolk Family History drop-in from 10am to noon.

A feel good singing session Music In Our Bones for family carers will be in the Conference Room from 1pm to 3pm on Friday, January 15.
