Bury St Edmunds Hair salon unveils ‘elegant’ new look

A hair salon in Bury St Edmunds has double cause for celebration after unveiling a fresh new look during a special anniversary.

Independent salon HAIR ‘His & Her’, in Brentgovel Street, has reopened after a major re-fit and re-style during the business’ 40th anniversary year.

Owners John and Jenny Parkington say they are excited to introduce customers to their salon’s ‘elegant new look’ which boasts Philip Starke-designed chairs, sleek minimalistic lines and classy Italian lighting.

But they are keen to point out that they are retaining the ‘core values’ that have enabled them to survive for so long in such a competitive industry.

Jenny, still works full time at the salon, said it was the quality of their work, commitment to client satisfaction and ability to deliver a professional yet friendly service that had maintained their trusted reputation.

She said: “It’s a special year for us and we are so pleased with how the new-look salon has turned out.

“I want to personally thank our regular clients for their continued support, a few of whom have been with us right from the very beginning, but we are also excited and very proud to welcome new clients to our lovely new facilities.”

The salon was due to host an official launch party last night.
