Bury St Edmunds driver detained by police on suspicion of drink driving after A14 crash was wanted for ABH
A driver of a vehicle was detained by police on suspicion of drink driving after a crash on the A14 on Saturday.
The man, 22, from Bury St Edmunds was also wanted for an ABH (actual bodily harm) offence.
The collision resulted in one lane being closed on the A14 westbound between Woolpit and Thurston, involving one vehicle a blue Lexus on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at around 7.20am and the road was cleared by the early afternoon.
The driver was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure after the air bags were set off, however it is believed his injuries are not life threatening.
He has been remanded in custody.
