Bury st Edmunds college hosts open day for potential students

West Suffolk College, in Bury st Edmunds, will be holding an open event tomorrow to offer potential students the chance to find out about full time courses and apprenticeships.

Visitors to its main campus at Out Risbygate will be treated to demonstrations of skills for many different course areas including fashion designing, hairdressing, art, media, science, business, engineering and motor vehicle maintenance.

Meanwhile, in its Milburn Centre in Anglian Lane, visitors will be able to learn about a wide range of construction courses.

Yasmin Jeffery, head of marketing and communication, said: “The open event on Saturday will be fantastic – we have hundreds of visitors to these events already this year. It’s an exciting day because it is wonderful to see so many people about to take the next step towards their future careers with the College.”

It will run from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
