Bury fringe festival line-up is announced
The exciting line-up of homegrown talent set to grace the stage at this year’s Bury Fringe Festival has been announced.
Among the musical treats are Bury rock band Voter Kernel, alt-rock foursome Cathedrals and Cars, hip-hop collective Scare the Normals, folk punks Thy Last Drop and indie legend Kate Jackson, formally of the Long Blondes.
The festival kicks off on Saturday April 2 with a night of music at the Hunter Club in Bury with Voter Kernel, Men of Munga, Kemakil, Final Transmission and Fix. A fortnight later, on Saturday April 16, Cathedral and Cars, Fortunato, War Waves, Kyanos and Dreadnecks have their time in the limelight.
Friday April 22 sees Kate Jackson and the Wrong Moves play at the Abbeygate Cinema with a special showreel of short movies by young filmmakers from Conservatoire East.
The Bury Fringe All-Dayer with 30 bands playing from 1pm to 1am across four stages at the Hunter Club is on Saturday May 7.
