People in the Elmswell area who need help with problems ranging from benefits to relationships no longer have to take a trip to Stowmarket to get advice.

Citizens’ Advice Mid Suffolk has started a twice a month drop in service at Blackbourne Community Centre, which will be open from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.

Carol Eagles, bureau manager of Citizens’ Advice Mid Suffolk, said: “We are aware that it is increasingly difficult for rural communities to access services, which is why we wanted to come into the community to help anyone who needs advice and support.”
