Benson Blakes’ burger shortlisted

Benson Blakes have been shortlisted for the National Burger Awards 2015.
The St John’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, restaurant bar, which is a past winner, entered its gourmet Big Ben Burger and on February 25 owner Tim Blake with head chef Adam Picard will have to create a new burger in a cook-off against their shortlist rivals from ingredients given to them on the day.
The Big Ben Burger crams a burger pattie, barbecue brisket, bacon jam, Russian dressing, Oggleshield cheese and pickles into a specially made bun.
