Suffolk police say a man has been arrested in connection with yesterday’s armed raid on a pharmacy in Lakenheath.

A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said this afternoon: “A 22-year-old man from the Mildenhall was arrested at an address in Lakenheath on suspicion of three armed robberies in the Suffolk and Cambridge area and has been taken into custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.”

Suffolk Police say nobody was injured in yesterday’s incident, at about 3.20pm in the High Street and are appealing for anyone who saw it to contact them.

Anyone who saw the incident or the man running off should call Suffolk Police on 101 quoting CAD250 of February 26.
