Arrest after man stabbed in Thetford
Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed in Thetford in the early hours on Sunday.
Police were called to an address, in Icknield Way, at about 12.50am following reports a man had been stabbed.
Paramedics attended and the man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he received treatment for two stab wounds to his arm and stomach, described as minor injuries, and was discharged later in the day.
A cordon was put in place outside the address while initial investigations were carried out and lifted at about 11.30am.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the incident.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre and questioned.
He has been released on bail until Wednesday, July 31 while investigations continue.
