Animal charity opens shop in Bury St Edmunds town centre
An animal charity has opened a shop in Bury St Edmunds town centre.
Wood Green, The Animals Charity has launched a new store, in Brentgovel Street, to help support its work.
The charity, which has headquarters in Godmanchester, provides pet services and finds new homes for dogs, cats and other small pets.
Jake Hornsbury of Wood Green, said: “We are delighted to have secured the shop on Brentgovel Street.
"Wood Green has been looking to open a shop in Bury St Edmunds for a while and this unit presented the perfect opportunity. We look forward to welcoming customers into the refitted shop."
The shop was let by the Bury St Edmunds office of Eddisons incorporating Barker Storey Matthews.
Simon Burton, of Eddisons, added: "We are delighted to welcome such a high profile charity as Wood Green to Bury St Edmunds.
"It adds another new occupier to the town in taking up these attractive and substantial retail premises."
