Newmarket Road Anglian Water repairs scheduled to be finished by the end of tomorrow

Works in Newmarket Road which have been causing delays for drivers are due to finish by the end of tomorrow.

Temporary traffic lights are place in Newmarket Road – near Aldi and Glasswells – while Anglian Water carries out utility repair and maintenance works.

The signals, which have been in place sporadically since December 31, have been causing significant congestion along Newmarket Road and Westley Road, however the repairs are scheduled to be finished by the end of Tuesday.
