Medical emergency at Wetherspoon pub in Bury St Edmunds sees man taken to West Suffolk Hospital

The ambulance service was alerted to a medical emergency at a Bury St Edmunds pub.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called to Wetherspoon at The Corn Exchange in Abbeygate Street at 2.38pm.

An ambulance was sent to the scene.

A man was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.
