Stage is set for Tom Grennan, Anne-Marie, Paul Weller and Jack Savoretti as Forest Live concerts kick off at High Lodge, Thetford Forest




As darkness falls over Thetford Forest this weekend, the trees will echo to the sounds of live music as the annual Forest Live gigs return.

Starting tonight, artists will take to the stage in the clearing at High Lodge, to be watched by thousands of music-lovers.

Kicking off the Forest Live series this evening is Tom Grennan, followed by Anne-Marie tomorrow, Paul Weller on Saturday and Jack Savoretti on Sunday.

The concerts run from approximately 7-10.30pm (Sunday’s gig starts at 7.30pm), but the car park opens at 5pm each evening.

Although Anne-Marie is sold out, tickets are still available for the other acts priced from £44.50 to £52.50 plus booking fee.

Email confirmations are not accepted and concert-goers are asked to take the e-tickets they were emailed as QR codes need to be scanned.

Download and save each individual e-ticket in advance, due to limited phone or WiFi signal at the venue.

What to take (and what not to take):

- Bag searches will be carried out so take essential items only to make entrance faster for everyone.

- Dress for the outdoors, with warm clothes for later in the evening and a waterproof if rain is forecast (umbrellas are not allowed in the arena).

- Folding chairs and blankets are allowed.

- Picnics are also welcome, but glass, tables, metal cutlery and breakable crockery are not permitted.

- Cans are permitted, but no more than one litre of soft and/or alcoholic drink per person is allowed.

- Flasks and reusable metal water bottles are encouraged.

- Undiluted spirits are not allowed.

- Professional photography equipment is prohibited.

Getting there:

- High Lodge is off the B1107 between Brandon and Thetford, just off the A11, postcode IP27 0AF.

- Car parking is free but vehicles cannot be left overnight.

- Anyone arriving by taxi or being dropped off should ensure return journey arrangents are made in advance. Arrange to meet your taxi at the designated taxi pick up/drop off point signposted on site.

- If you have an accessibility need and are arriving by taxi, contact Customer Relations in advance to make the necessary arrangements. Call 0300 068 0400 or email customerrelations@forestryengland.uk.

Other important information:

- Concerts will go ahead regardless of weather, except in extreme conditions where the venue is deemed unsafe.

- Concerts are only cancelled in extreme circumstances. If there is a need to cancel, the person who bought the tickets will be contacted via email. Information will also be published on Facebook and Twitter.

- Bar and food and drink outlets are available at all venues. Most bar and food outlets accept card payments, however as there are no cashpoints and mobile signal is patchy it is advised to take cash.

- Seating is not provided or reserved but blankets or small single folding chairs are welcome, these are not permitted in the standing-only area in front of the stage.

- You cannot claim a spot with chairs or blankets and leave it unattended.
