Air ambulance called after woman in Bury St Edmunds suffers cardiac arrest

An air ambulance was called to Bury St Edmunds after a woman suffered a cardiac arrest.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance, two land ambulances and an officer from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to the incident, in Ipswich Street, at 1.31pm involving a woman aged in her late 20s.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they performed CPR combined with advanced life support.

She was taken to West Suffolk Hospital by land ambulance in a ‘serious condition’.
