19-mile diversion as A134 outside Bury St Edmunds, between Barton Hill and B1106 to shut for emergency pothole repairs




Drivers will be sent on a 19-mile diversion as a busy road outside a town will shut tonight for pothole repairs.

Suffolk Highways announced the A134 in Fornham St Martin, between the B1106 and Barton Hill, outside Bury St Edmunds, will be closed from 7pm until 5am tomorrow.

Motorists will be diverted via the A11, A1066 and A143.

A description of the works on one.network said the closure was for ‘emergency pothole repair’.

Delays are likely.
