Two people in Beccles hurt after man driving a VW Golf throws metal torch at car

Two people have been hurt in Beccles after a man threw a metal torch at a car.

The man, who was driving a black VW Golf, pulled up to the pair in the south Beccles bypass junction with Cucumber Lane at 11.15pm on September 13.

He then threw the torch, which smashed through the passenger window, covering them in shattered glass and causing minor cuts.

Suffolk Police described the man as white, skinny, with short dark hair, and between the age of 30 and 40.

He was topless at the time, and may also be associated with a silver-blue Fiat Punto.
