Two girls, 17, suffer cuts and bruises after attack outside Beccles train station
Two teenage girls were left with cuts and bruises after being assaulted outside Beccles train station this week.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened at about 4.25pm on Tuesday.
Officers said the victims, two 17-year-old girls, were approached by a group of about 10 boys and girls.
Two of the girls are alleged to have punched the victims, pulled their hair and pushed them to the ground, where the girls were then kicked.
They sustained cuts and bruises and went to hospital for medical assessment.
Police said one of the female suspects is described as white with red, curly hair.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are urging anyone with information to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference 37/15754/21.
