Beccles incident sees motorbike taken for joyride on A146 near Lowestoft by teenagers after theft from outside Grove Road home




A motorcycle was stolen from outside a home in Beccles – and it is believed three teenagers were later seen taking it for a joyride on a key route.

At about 6am today, two males wearing black hoodies were seen taking a black Yamaha SR from outside an address in Grove Road.

About 45 minutes later, police received reports of three males, believed to be teenagers, riding a motorcycle without crash helmets on the A146 between Beccles and Lowestoft.

It is believed the two incidents are linked.

Officers are asking for motorists – especially those with dash cam footage – to come forward to aid the investigation.

The registration of the stolen motorcycle is N692 UCY.
