A teenager was arrested after a pole was used to attack two nesting swans in a Suffolk town.
The incident was on a track off George Westwood Way, Beccles, last Monday, November 13.
The 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of injuring a wild bird and causing criminal damage.
He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
The teenager was released on bail pending further inquiries, to answer on February 16, 2024.
The swans were left distressed but uninjured.
