Castle EAST School, in Bungay, announces closure on Monday due to ‘critical incident with server’

A Suffolk school has announced it will be closed on Monday due to a critical incident with its server.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Castle EAST School, in Bungay, said: “Due to a critical incident with our server we have had to make the difficult decision to close to all pupils on Monday 18 December 2023.
“We will be in touch with an update as soon as we know more.
“Thank you for your understanding and support.”
A statement on the school’s website said it would be in touch with parents and carers on Monday with an update.
Castle EAST is a special school for pupils with communication and interaction (C&I) needs from Year 5 through to Year 11.
