Emergency services battling blaze at Graze at The White Horse in Beccles




Emergency services are battling a blaze at a bar and grill in Beccles.

A member of the public reported smoke billowing out from the back of Graze at The White Horse, in New Market, to Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service at 1.43pm.

A total of eight engines attended the scene and worked to dampen the flames using breathing equipment and hose reel jets.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said four engines have since left.

There are no casualties, although the extent of the fire has yet to be determined.

In addition, Suffolk Police were called to close both Ballygate and New Market at 2.05pm.

Officers remain at the scene.
