A12 blocked at Frostenden after serious crash involving two lorries and car

Emergency crews have been called to a serious collision involving three vehicles on the A12 in Suffolk this morning.

It's after two lorries and a car were involved in a crash in Frostenden at about 8am.

A police spokesman said the A12 is currently blocked between the crossroads at Barnaby Green near The Plough Inn to the south and the turning for Frostenden Corner to the north.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route if possible, as there will be delays.

Any witnesses, or anyone driving in the area at the time who has a dashcam in their vehicle, are asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101, quoting reference CAD 54 of March 4.
