Residents given safety warning due to building fire in Benacre Road, Ellough, near Beccles

Residents in and around an industrial estate outside Beccles have been given a safety warning due to a building fire that is raging.

Firefighters are at the scene of a blaze in Benacre Road.

In total, fire crews are on the ground, working to dampen the flames.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service has warned of the risk of smoke and fumes due to the fire.

He urged residents to keep their doors and windows shut and to not go outside until further notice.
