Police appeal following crash on B1062 in Bungay

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the B1062 in Bungay which saw the driver of one of the vehicles suffer serious injuries.

Fire crews and the ambulance service were called early last Friday morning following the collision just before the junction with the B1435.

A blue VW Polo driving out of Bungay towards Mettingham collided with a Toyota Corolla which was parked up but unattended.

The driver of the Polo, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries, including a broken leg and ribs and internal injuries, and his passenger suffered a dislocated shoulder.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact Suffolk Police, quoting CAD number 49 of October 29, 2021.
