Speeding driver on A144 among 26 motorists issued with traffic offence reports on Suffolk roads on Easter Monday

A driver who was caught speeding on a Suffolk road doing 20mph above the limit was among 26 motorists who were reported today.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team said they were out on the county's roads today carrying out speed checks.

Their efforts saw 26 traffic offence reports (TORs) issued during Easter Monday.

This included a motorist who was caught driving at 53mph in a 30mph limit on the A144, which connects Bungay to Darsham, passing through Halesworth.
