Two men arrested in Bungay after criminal damage and assault incident where man suffers cut to head




Two men have been arrested after an assault and criminal damage incident where a man in his 50s also suffered a cut to his head.

A window of a house on Broad Street in Bungay was smashed on Saturday, November 18 at 11pm, and has been linked by police to a secondary incident on the street.

After the window was smashed, a man in his 50s was assaulted by a man and suffered a cut to the head.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and was released on police bail, to answer on Wednesday, December 13.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on criminal damage and was released on police bail, to answer on Friday, December 15.

Anyone who witnessed either incident or has knowledge of who was involved, is asked to contact Lowestoft Police, quoting the relevant crime number via the website.
