Man in his 40s dies following three-vehicle crash between two lorries and car on A12 in Frostenden
A man in his 40s has died after a crash involving two lorries and a car on the A12 in Frostenden this morning.
Police were called to reports of a three-vehicle collision just after 8am.
Ambulance and fire crews were also on the scene of the crash, which involved a beige DAF lorry, a white Mercedes lorry and a black Audi A6. The driver of the Mercedes lorry died at the scene.
The A12 near the crossroads at Barnaby Green remained closed until about 4.45pm while a collision investigation was conducted and all three vehicles were recovered from the area.
Any witnesses or anyone who was driving in the area at about 8am who has a dashcam in their vehicle are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
