Man suffers life-changing injury after being hit by Corsa on A12 at Henstead

A man has suffered a life-changing leg injury after he was hit by a car on the A12.

Suffolk Police were called to the scene in Henstead at around 9.15pm yesterday to reports of a blue Vauxhall Corsa having hit a pedestrian.

The man was taken to James Paget Hospital for treatment.

The northbound carriageway was closed for more than two hours but reopened at 11.35pm.

Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting reference 808/21.
